PLAY OUTSIDE

Ketchum is home to our favorite trails, sections of river, and mountains that can be explored by foot, bike, boat, or car.

TAKE TO THE TRAILS

  • Proctor Loop (hike)- 4.2-mile loop just outside of Sun Valley, known for its iconic valley views (namely Baldy!). Proctor is home to the first chairlift in the North America!

  • Adams Gulch (walk, hike, bike)- Adam’s Gulch trailhead is a gateway to a network of trails best for hiking or biking. One of our favorite bike trails is Forbidden Fruit!

  • Fox Creek/Chocolate Gulch (bike, hike). Fox Creek is a roughly 6-mile loop- great for mountain biking. Combine both Chocolate Gulch & Fox Creek for a ~9-mi loop with 1,500 feet of elevation gain. Trailforks map

  • Galena (bike, dine, picnic)- Galena Lodge is a 30-minute drive North of Ketchum and offers a large trail network for bikers and hikers alike. Pack a picnic to savor outside the lodge, or better yet, enjoy Galena’s delicious lunch menu, craft beers, and iconic cookies. Take a pit stop in the bike shop where Jake used to work!
